To date we have not lost a single piece of glassware to breakages in transport. All glassware is wrapped in tissue paper, then in bubble wrap, and then if possible in a cardboard tube. The wrapped glass is then placed in a double sided box of appropriate size and surrounded by polystyrene packaging. We will accept returns within fourteen days of your receipt of the goods, without question, provided that:
a) the glassware is received by us in exactly the same condition as it was despatched to you. You are responsible for insuring the glassware while it is with you and on its journey back to us;
b) you have informed us in advance that you are returning the glass and have given your reasons for doing so;
c) you pay the return postage. In the event that your reason for return is that the glassware was genuinely misdescribed, broken in transit to you, or for reasons of our negligence then we will also refund the return postage. It is our aim to provide you with the most professional and conciliatory service that we can achieve. Please take this into account if you have been disappointed in a piece of glass you have purchased from us. We are not always perfect in our determination of the origin and condition of a piece of glassware. We will try to be perfect in our response to your concerns.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE RETURNING AN ITEM FROM OUTSIDE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION THEN YOU MUST ATTACH AN ENVELOPE CONTAINING A COPY OF OUR ORIGINAL INVOICE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE PARCEL AND MARK THE PACKAGE “RETURN OF ITEM TO UK SELLER. NO DUTY OR VAT PAYABLE. ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED. ” IN LARGE, PREFERABLY RED LETTERS.. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS THEN UK CUSTOMS WILL TRY TO CHARGE US IMPORT DUTY AND VAT. THESE CHARGES WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM ANY REFUND FOR THE RETURN IF WE CANNOT GET THEM DISMISSED.
