This is a Waterford Crystal carafe of unknown pattern although it is the reverse of the Maeve pattern with split olives below rather than above hobnail diamonds.
The carafe is in excellent condition. It shows a little age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with some minimal use.
The carafe is mallet shaped and measures 10.5 cm (4.2 inches) in diameter ati ts widest point. The carafe has been blown in clear glass and then cut with split olives below diamond cutting. The carafe ends in a star-cut base, just above which is displayed the “Waterford” water mark. The carafe is 20.5 cm (8.2 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration.
The carafe weighs in at 1.07 kg. ( ~ 2 lb. 6 oz.).
