This is a French minature glass beaker hand-enamelled with a Winter landscape scene in the style of Legras and Daum and dating from the early 20th century. It is unsigned.
The beaker is in excellent condition. It shows some age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with 100 years of use.
The beaker is bucket-shaped and measures 3.8 cm (1.5 inches) in diameter at the bowl rim and 3 cm (1.2 inches) in diameter across the base. The beaker is 5.2 cm (2.1 inches) in height. It is decorated in a hand-painted Winter landscape scene in poychrome enamels. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
Soda glass. It weighs in at a mere 22 g. (~ 3/4 oz.). A lovely piece of glass for those who like their pleasures in small parcels.
