This is a clear glass Val St. Lambert paperweight, engraved with an archer in a similar style to the Lalique model, and dating from the late 20th century. The same range includes paperweights with eagles, oak leaves and dolphins.
The paperweight is in excellent condition for its age. It shows some small age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with use.
The paperweight is in the form of a clear glass disk measuring 10 cm (4 inches) in diameter. The paperweight is 2.8 cm (1.1 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. The paperweight bears a lower case “Val St. Lambert” etched into the side of the base.
It weighs in at 615 g. (~ 1 lb. 6 oz.).
