This is a contemporary set of six Waterford Crystal very large lead crystal wine or ale glasses.
The glasses are in excellent condition for their age. They show little or no age related wear and tear to the rims of the bases and may never have been used.
The glasses have funnel-shaped bowls measuring 8.8 cm (3.5 inches) in diameter at the upper rims. The glasses have been blown in clear glass and then cut; the bowls sitting directly on the feet without a stem intervening. The glasses end in star-cut bases. The “Waterford” water mark is displayed on the top of the foot on each glass and each glass retains its original Waterford foil label. The glasses are 23.5 cm (9.4 inches) in height. Dimensions and weight vary slightly from glass to glass as should be expected of hand-made glass. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration.
Each glass weighs in at 445 g. ( ~ 1 lb.). They do NOT come in their original box.
