This is a large Siddy Langley studio glass Treescape vase, designed by Siddy in her Devon studio, the piece dating from the year 2001.
The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the base consistent with some minimal use.
The vase is a flattened oviform in shape and was blown in clear glass decorated in amber, white and red. It measures 24 cm (9.6 inches) in diameter at its widest point. It ends in a polished base and near which are etched the words “Siddy Langley 2001”. The vase is 22.5 cm (9 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
It weighs in at 2.78 kg. (~ 6 lb. 2 oz.).
