This is a Norman Stuart Clarke (b. 1944) iridescent studio glass Seascape bottle vase, the piece dating from the year 1999.

The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the base consistent with some minimal use.

The vase is in the form of a flattened shaft and globe and was blown in clear glass decorated in green, white and blue. It measures 16 cm (6.4 inches) in diameter at its widest point. It ends in a base which carries the remains of a rough pontil mark, and near which are etched the words “Noman Stuart Clarke 99”. The vase is 19.5 cm (7.8 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.

It weighs in at 1.16 kg. (~ 2 lb. 9 oz.).
