This is a pair of post-war Lalique Rosemary pattern glass tea light or votive candle holders, produced from 2002 as part of the Coupelles Herbes de Provence (Wildflower) collection.
The glasses are in excellent condition for their age. They show minimal age related wear and tear to the rims of the bases consistent with some minimal use.
The glasses have rounded bucket-shaped bowls measuring 9.5 cm (3.8inches) in diameter at the everted rims. The glasses have been blown in clear crystal and then frosted and moulded with sprigs of rosemary. The bowls end in plain, clear glass bases that measure 5 cm (2 inches) in diameter. The characters “Lalique ® France” are inscribed in lower case on the underside of each base. The glasses are 7.5 cm (3 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration. Each glass has three rubber pads stuck to the base to prevent scratching.
Each glass weighs in at 310 g. ( ~ 11 oz.).
