This is a pretty studio glass, mouth-blown, bowl, designed and blown by Marie Worre Hastrup Holm. Marie worked with Peter Layton and was, at one time, artist in residence at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York State, USA.

The bowl is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with some 30 years of use.

The bowl is an open cup in shape and is blown in colourless glass enhanced by waves of pink. It measures 23 cm (9.2 inches) in width at the wavy rim. It ends in a small clear glass foot, and on which are etched the signature of the artist and the date “’98”. The bowl is 11 cm (4.4 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.

It weighs in at 805 g. (~ 1 lb. 12 oz.).
