This is an Edinburgh Crystal Broughton pattern champagne flute.
The glass is in excellent condition. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot commensurate with some use.
The glass has an extended ovoid-shaped bowl measuring 5 cm (2 inches) in diameter at the rim. The bowl is cut in the Broughton pattern and sits on a plain stem and conical foot which measures 6.7 cm (2.7 inches) in diameter. The glass is 20 cm (7 3/4 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. There is a foil label for “EDINBURGH CRYSTAL” still evident on the outside of the bowl and the top of the foot carries the watermark for “Edinburgh Crystal”.
Lead glass weighing in at 245 g. (~ 9 oz.).
