This is an Adam and Eve (Adam och Eva) mould-blown amber glass mug designed by Erik Hoglund for Boda, the design dating from the 1950s.

The mug is in excellent condition for its age. It shows the age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with some years of use.

The mug was blown in amber glass into a mould which shows a nude man and woman in relief. The applied handle is in the same colour glass. The mug is cylindrical and measures 8.4 cm (3.4 inches) in diameter at the drinking rim. It is 11.2 cm (4.5 inches) in height. It has a polished out pontil mark on the base. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any evidence of restoration. The characters “H278” are etched into the base.

It weighs in at 440 g. (~ 1 lb.).
