This is an English, Georgian, dwarf ale glass dating from the early 19th century, c1820.
The glass is in excellent condition for its age. This means, of course, that it shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot.
The glass has an extended ovoid-shaped bowl measuring 6.2 cm (2.5 inches) in diameter at the rim. The bowl is cut with petal flutes to the lower half and sits on a short piece of plain stem and a lemon squeezer foot which measures 4.8 cm (1.9 inches) across. The glass is 13.3 cm (5.3 inches) in height. The foot is in excellent condition for this form with only a few very minor flea-bite chips to the corners and cut facets. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
It is made from English lead metal. It weighs 150 g. (~ 5 oz.).
