This is an English, Georgian, dwarf ale glass dating from the early 19th century, c1820.

The glass is in good condition for its age. This means, of course, that it shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot.

The glass has a rounded funnel-shaped bowl measuring 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) in diameter at the rim. The bowl is plain and sits on a capstan stem and a lemon squeezer foot which measures 5.2 cm (2.1 inches) across. The glass is 13.5 cm (5.4 inches) in height. The foot is in good condition for this form with only a few small chips to the corners and cut facets as can be seen in the relevant image. There are no other chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. There is a collector’s sticker to the top of the foot.

It is made from English lead metal. It weighs 185 g. (~ 6 1/2 oz.).
