This is a post-war Lalique Ispahan vase, dating from the late 20th century. This was designed by Marc Lalique as far back as 1952.
The vase is in excellent condition and has stood on the same window sill, unmoved since purchase. It shows some small age related wear and tear to the base consistent with use.
The vase is made in lead crystal glass, is funnel shaped and is decorated with roses in satin glass. It measures 19.8 cm (8 inches) in diameter at the rim and is 24 cm (9.6 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. The vase bears a lower case “Lalique ® France” inscribed to the underside of the base and still has its original foil label which carries the legend “CRISTAL LALIQUE PARIS” just under the top rim.
It weighs in at 4.37 kg. (~ 9 lb. 10 oz.).
