This is an iridescent studio glass Nocturne vase in the petrol blue colourway blown by or for Richard P. Golding at the Okra Studio Glass Guild.
The vase is in excellent condition. It shows some age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with use.
The vase is of baluster form in a petrol blue colourway with feathering in a lighter blue and white colourway. The vase measures 8 cm (3.2 inches) in diameter at its widest point. It is 26 cm (8.4 inches) in height. The vase ends in a base which carries the legend “Nocturne RF 0” inscribed around a polished out pontil mark. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
It weighs in at 455 g. (~ 1 lb.).
