This is a late Victorian, mouth-blown Bristol green glass flagon decanter dating from the end of the 19th century, c1880.

The flagon is in excellent condition for its age. It shows the age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with some 140 years of use. It has a polished out pontil mark to the base.

The decanter is in Bristol green glass with a white metal neck sleeve. The flagon measures 13 cm (5.2 inches) in diameter at its widest point, and is 17.5 cm (7 inches) in height. The white metal sleeve can be slipped off the pouring spout. An associated white metal capped cork stopper is in situ. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any evidence of restoration.

It weighs in at 565 g. (~ 1 lb. 4 oz.).
