This is a Waterford Crystal hock glass in the Maeve pattern produced between 1976-2017 but now discontinued.
The glass is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot consistent with some years of use.
The glass has an ovoid-shaped bowl measuring 7 cm (2.8 inches) in diameter at the inverted rim. The bowl is cut in the Maeve pattern with diamond cutting below a medial prism cut and with vertical blazes above. The bowl sits on a six-sided vertically facet cut stem that leads to a star-cut conical foot which measures 7.2 cm (2.9 inches) in diameter. The glass is 18.7 cm. (7.5 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration. It is marked with the “Waterford” sign to the bottom edge of the foot.
Lead crystal, weighing in at 380 g. ( ~ 13 oz.). The glass holds 175 ml., approximately one quarter of a bottle of wine.
