This is a Kosta Boda Satellite Vase, model 89252, designed by Bertil Vallien in 1992.
The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with use.
The vase is a flattened bottle in shape with a clear glass neck which has an applied yellow glass annular neck ring and an everted pouring rim. The body is cased in yellow glass heavily speckled with orange and green spots. There are foil-like squares on each of the flat sides. The vase is 22.5 cm (9 inches) in height and measures 14 cm (5.6 inches) across at its widest point. The base has a polished out pontil mark. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. It appears to be unsigned.
It weighs in at 1.1 kg. (~ 2 lb. 7 oz.).
