This is a large Daum, Nancy, paté de verre Snails on a leaf figurine.
The figurine is in excellent condition for its age. It shows minor age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with use.
The figurine is in the form of a leaf on which sits a large snail at one end with a smaller snail further along the edge. It measures 18.5 cm (7.4 inches) in length and 15 cm (6 inches) in width. It is 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. The words “Daum France” are etched onto the pontil mark on the base in lower case script. There is no box.
It weighs in at 735 g. (~ 1 lb. 10 oz.).
