This is a small hand-made (mouth-blown) iridescent studio glass vase designed and signed by Carin von Drehle, and blown in 1984.
The vase is blown in clear glass stained in polychrome with leafy tendrils in red and blue descending from the rim towards the base. The vase is 11.3 cm (4.5 inches) in height and measures 12.5 cm (5 inches) in diameter at its widest point. It weighs 655 g. (~ 1 lb. 7 oz.). There is an etched “CVD” signature to the rim of the base and also the characters “1984” hence the date attribution. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
