This is a hand-made (mouth-blown) iridescent studio glass Kimono Silk vase designed and signed by Norman Stuart Clarke, and blown in 2002.

The vase is blown in clear glass stained in pink and white with leafy tendrils in gold and iridescent blue descending from the rim towards the base. The vase is 18.3 cm (7.3 inches) in height and measures 9 cm (3.6 inches) in diameter at its widest point. It weighs 695 g. (~ 1 lb. 8 oz.). There is an etched “Norman Stuart Clarke” signature to the rim of the base and also the characters “02” hence the date attribution. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
