This is a studio glass vase designed and blown by Stuart Fletcher for Top Glass in their Worcestershire studios, probably at the beginning of this millennium.
The vase is in excellent condition. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with age and use.
The vase is spherical and measures 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter at the everted rim. It measures 10.5 cm (4.2 inches) in diameter at its widest point. The vase was blown in clear glass and decorated with gold leaf and trailing. It is 13.5 cm (5.4 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration. The characters “Topglass” and “Stuart Fletcher” are etched into the base.
Lead glass weighing in at 635 g. ( ~ 1 lb. 6 oz.).
