This is an iridescent sommerso studio glass vase in the clear over white colourway blown by Richard P. Golding for Okra Studio Glass in 2002.
The vase is in excellent condition. It shows some age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with use.
The vase is of shouldered ovoid form in a clear over white colourway with stylised flowers in gold and bronze. The vase measures 12 cm (4.8 inches) in diameter at its widest point and is 22 cm (8.8 inches) in height. The vase ends in a base which carries the legend “RPG Okra 2002 WA 16” inscribed around a polished out pontil mark. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
It weighs in at 1.04 kg. (~ 2 lb. 5 oz.).
