This is a tall paté de verre and lead crystal trumpet vase, of contemporary form, produced by Daum of Nancy, France.
The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the base consistent with some minimal use.
The vase is of trumpet form and was blown in clear lead crystal glass. It sits on a paté de verre base simulating the base of a plant. It measures 11.5 cm (4.6 inches) in diameter at its widest point. It ends in a base which carries the words “Daum France”. The vase is an impressive 35 cm (14 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
It weighs in at 1.35 kg. (~ 3 lb.).
