This is a 19th century mouth-blown rounded bucket bowl tavern glass wine goblet dating from the middle of the 19th century, c1860.

The glass is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot consistent with years of use. It has a gadget mark on the bottom of the foot which dates it pretty accurately to the aforementioned date.

The glass has a rounded bucket-shaped bowl measuring 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter at the rim. The bowl is plain and sits on a true baluster stem that leads to a conical foot which measures 7.6 cm (3 inches) in diameter. The glass is 16 cm (6.4 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration.

The glass weighs in at 300 g. ( ~ 11 oz.).
