This is a Kosta Boda of Sweden vase, “Seaside”, designed by Göran Wärff, model 2049808, the design dating from the late 20th century, 1998, and manufactured up until 2011.
The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with some use.
The vase is mouth-blown in clear glass enhanced with blue glass with an obliquely ground top. It measures 8 cm (3.2 inches) in width at its widest point. It ends in a base on which are etched the words “Kosta Boda G Warff 2049808”. The vase is 24 cm (9.6 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. There is a “Kosta Boda since 1742” sticker just above the base.
It weighs in at 1.5 kg. (~ 3 lb. 5 oz.).
