This is a Fidji bottle vase designed for Kosta Boda of Sweden by Kjell Engman. The vase was mouth-blown into a mould and forms part of the Kosta Boda Artist Collection.
The vase is in the amethyst and topaz colourway and is 36.5 cm (14.6 inches) in height and 13.5 cm (5.4 inches) in diameter. It weighs 1.19 kg. (~ 2 lb. 10 oz.). The original plastic label is still attached to the bottom with the words “Kosta Boda since 1742” written on it and the characters “Kosta Boda K. Engman 7048839” are etched into the base. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
