This is a glass vase designed by Nils Landberg for Orrefors of Sweden and dating from the 1950s. This is a clear glass example but the model number inscribed on the base suggests it was part of the Dusk series.
The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with age and use.
The vase is brick-shape and measures 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) square in cross-section. The vase was blown in clear glass and is 23 cm (9.2 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration. The characters “Orrefors NU 3896-131” are etched into the base.
Lead glass weighing in at 1.65 kg. ( ~ 3 lb. 10 oz.).
