These are a pair of mould-blown, late Victorian hyacinth vases, dating from approximately 1900.
The vases are in good condition for their age. This means, of course, that they show some wear and tear to the bases and elsewhere commensurate with 100+ years of use.
The vases are of baluster shape and are Bristol blue in colour. The rims measure 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) in diameter. The bowls flare out into a baluster shape with stepped bases that measure 9.8 cm (3.9 inches) in diameter. The vases are 14 cm (5.6 inches) in height. The rims appear to have been ground down. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches, or any other obvious signs of restoration.
Each vase weighs in at 300 g. (~ 11 oz.).
