This is a Kosta Boda “Antikva” hand-blown glass vase designed by Bertil Vallien in 1977.
The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with some use.
The vase is blown in clear glass, stained amber to the neck and mottled blue to the reservoir. The reservoir is hexagonal in shape, measuring 5.2 cm (2.1 inches) across. The vase is 14 cm (5.6 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration. There is an inscription etched into the base, which bears a polished out pontil mark, that reads “Boda Artist B.Valien 47834”.
The vase weighs in at 193 g. ( ~ 6 3/4 oz.).
