This is a Peter Tysoe, mouth-blown, small studio glass polychrome vase. Peter has worked in both the UK and Australia, undertaking commissions for several public buildings, and currently abides in Torquay, Devon.

The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with use.

The vase is cylindrical in shape with a narrow neck and everted rim measuring 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) in diameter. The base measures 6.7 cm (2.7 inches) in diameter. The vase is blown in clear glass encasing small bubbles and blue and purple highlights. It is 16.5 cm (6.6 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. There is a “Peter Tysoe Glass” plastic label to the side of the vase.

It weighs in at 525 g. (~ 1 lb. 3 oz.).
