This is a Kosta of Sweden opaque vase with controlled bubbles, model LH1335, designed by Vicke Lindstrand, the design dating from the 1950s.
The vase is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with some 70 years of use.
The vase was blown in powder blue glass with external decoration of bands of controlled bubbles which was then cased in clear glass, and is roughly in the shape of a true baluster with an asymmetric rim. It measures 5.5 cm (2.2 inches) in width at its widest point. It ends in a base which is plain on which are etched the words “Kosta LH 1335”. The vase is 23.8 cm (9.5 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
It weighs in at 560 g. (~ 1 lb. 4 oz.).
